EVENING Yoga: Relaxing Stretch to Release Stress and Anxiety Before Bed

Welcome to this 35 minute evening yoga practice. Enjoy this slow and relaxing yoga stretch that will help you release all tension and stress from your body and prepare you for bed time. This practice is based on full body gentle stretches that will have a soothing and calming effect. Say good bye to your tired sore back and tight hips while we focus on deep conscious breathing. This is a truly perfect after work and before bed yoga practice.

I encourage you to give yourself an opportunity to heal, to let go, to focus on what is truly important. I encourage you to allow yourself to breathe deep, to feel and find peace. This gentle evening yoga stretch will help you through times of life difficulties or simply through a day that left you feeling drained and exhausted.

As you step onto the mat remind yourself that this is your safe space. There is no judgement, no criticism. You don’t have to be perfect. Bring all your imperfections onto the mat and sit with them. Listen to your thoughts and worries. Acknowledge them and accept. Perfection is impossible. You are unique and very special. Your existence is a miracle. I hope this practice will make you feel this way.

Remember that our health depends on daily movement and physical exercise. Our mood and mental health can be changed and sustained with the help of simple moves and stretches. Choose to feel good and follow along with this 35 minute evening before bed yoga stretch.

You don’t need much to complete this practice but you can choose to bring a couple of pillows or blankets to feel a little bit more relaxed. And you will need a stack of books or yoga blocks for a final stretch. Now you are ready.
