✨Welcome to this Prenatal Restorative Yin Yoga practice with me, Benedicte. This practice is suitable for all trimesters of pregnancy. In this video, I was 28 weeks pregnant with my first baby. Practicing and teaching yoga was a major part of my pregnancy and prenatal care and it felt so good to move, to breathe, to connect and also to be still.

✨ABOUT THE PRACTICE: This restorative yin practice starts with a short meditation focused on breath, then we move into our yin poses and we do a beautiful relaxation and gratitude meditation at the end.
I hope you will enjoy this practice with me.

✨PROPS: In Yin and Restorative yoga we use props generously. I am using some props in this practice, you might wish to utilise yours more or less. You will need your yoga mat, some pillows, a larger pillow or a bolster, blanket or towel.
Blocks can be useful, but don’t worry if you don’t have.

✨A FEW THINGS TO BE AWARE OF: Do not stretch more than 70 % of your capacity, we DO NOT wish to stretch deeply during pregnancy. Come out of the pose and move a little if it’s not feeling good for you, remember this is your practice, listen to your body. Drink water when you need to, have a rest, ENJOY!
