Hi everyone, welcome to my channel. Thank you for joining me in today’s 25 minute yoga class for stress reduction. If you’ve clicked on this video, odds are you’re going through a period of stress and overwhelm. If your mental health is suffering, I would encourage you to take some time to do this practice and hopefully it will help you move through those emotions and come back to a state of equilibrium in your nervous system.

I’ve struggled with anxiety my entire life and I find that the most beneficial way to use yoga during stressful episodes or panic attacks is by both activating and relaxing. We will do some dynamic breathing exercises to clear our minds and move our bodies to get the energy flowing before settling into some relaxation poses and slowing down.

This is a suitable class for all experience levels and no props are required.

  2. Thank you for being so open about your anxiety. Part of the issue is that you feel so isolated and that no one understands what you are feeling. I have always found movement is the only thing that helps my monkey mind.

  8. Thank you Kassandra. I absolutely loved this class. I have health anxiety (despite having good health) and it has become worse since my 77 year old mother passed away very unexpectedly from a brain bleed even though she was in excellent health and no risk factors. I loved how honest you are and open to share that you also struggle with anxiety. It's quite a learning process to understand and deal with. I have found that calming the nervous system is THE best way to calm the anxiety. I was looking for a relaxing bedtime yoga practice and stumbled across this one. I'm definitely saving this one to cone back to but also going go try other sessions if I can find some. Many thanks for helping others fight their anxiety and stress with tools that you find have been helpful to you.!!

  9. Looked for a stress relief practice and this popped up – I saw I've done it before and it was just as helpful this time, thanks! We just had to put down our beloved little dog, and our cat was just diagnosed diabetic, so I'm stressed! The breathwork and yin here really helped.

  10. There's a video of yours which when I wss go8ng thru bad bad derpession & schizophrenia 'no hands morning yoga'. You said have one word as an intention. The Universe/God used you to light my path. Today i'm better and flsd to have seen this, am sending prayers and light to us all.
