Yoga for Neck Hump | Upper Spine Posture

Spend some intentional time tending to your upper back and neck in this targeted practice designed to support healthy posture and create space where you need it most. Together, we’ll work to balance the natural curvature of the upper spine, counteracting the forward hunch that can develop from daily tasks like working at a computer, scrolling, or driving.

Move slowly and mindfully, using your breath as your guide to unlock the max benefits of this practice. This session invites gentle expansion, strength, and awareness to help you stand taller and feel more supported from within.

Grab a blanket and/or a block if you have one nearby (no worries if not), and join me on the mat! See you there.

  2. All day today I struggled with pain and stiffness in my left shoulder. Little did I know I needed this session. When I went to Adriene's page, it was the first one that popped up. I'm so glad I did this tonight! That fish pose at the end was exactly what I needed! Thank you Adriene!

  3. it’s upsetting how many ads interrupted my session as I watched the video today, your videos are so relaxing and multiple ads popping up to exit out of full screen are so annoying!

  4. I have kyphosis and scoliosis and did a few months of schroth physical therapy for it. This practice incorporates some of the techniques I learned – I’m impressed! This video will be a great addition to my at home PT regimen.

  5. I'm back. Practiced your yoga videos every day years ago. Then stopped. Had a health scare last year and started again. Then stopped due to moving house and stresses but finally back and glad to be here. Thank you for continuing to make your videos.

  6. Oh just what I needed. Have been thinking and considering and meaning to get back to ywa after my baby. I thought I would get there sooner, but baby is nearly 9 months. Today, family took bb out and I actually followed the video and got mental and physical relief. My spine cricked, my jaw loosened. I want to resolve to do another video this week. Getting back into movement for myself is hard and I am glad I knew where to go to find what I needed, thanks ywa. ❤

  7. I've been watching your videos on and off for about seven years now. I always enjoy them, but once in a while one of them is deeply healing and therapeutic. Today was one of those. Thank you

  8. Great Yoga session. Jeff and Kelli from Kent, WA Been in shoulder pain for over 2 weeks, saw my chiropractor couple days ago. She is a big Yoga fan and practitioner. X-rayed me and found that I have scoliosis, curved spine, compressed spine with bone spirs. She did an ajustment and showed me some yoga moves to try which helped relieve some pain. Just finished this video "Spine" and all of my pain is gone after more than 2 weeks of it. Thank you, thank you, thank you !!! My wife and I regularly follow your videos and will continue. God Bless You
