Thanks for this session, Adriene. With so many of us spending hours hunched over keyboards, focusing on lumbar health and functional movement is such a lifesaver.
It's really interesting to see how releasing tension in the hip flexors and hamstrings can make such a huge difference for the lower back. People often forget that those areas are so connected, and when the hips are tight, the lumbar region usually ends up paying the price. This practice feels like a great way to adress those surrounding tissues and create more space.
I also appreciate the reminder to start slow, especially by beginning on the back with the soles of the feet on the mat. It really helps the low back ease up and settle before moving into anything more active. This kind of ergonomic recovery is definately something I need to incorporate more into my daily routine to help with the sedentary lifestyle strain.
Always love the focus on the mind-body connection and listening to the breath. Thanks for sharing your wisdom with us! 🙏

first yoga back after a knee injury back in september! my knees would not bend completely and no way am i putting weight on them but with a few modifications this was great 🙂
Those pelvic tilts felt so good. I’ve been pairing these stretches with the meetaugust app to track my recovery and it’s actually keeping me consistent for once. Highly recommend both if your lower back is acting up like mine

For me it wasn’t the vision boards or crystals, it was sitting down and writing. Manifest the Divine by Elena River helped me do that consistently, and it changed the way I think about what I want. Highly recommend if you feel stuck. I manifested a new relationship and a raise in less than 3 months.
It didn’t feel like anything was working until I started journaling properly with Manifest the Divine by Elena River. I’d tried everything else before. The structure made me stick with it and actually stay consistent. And since then, I’ve manifested more peace, better finances, and so many unexpected blessings
Wasn’t until I got really real with myself on paper that I started to feel anything shift. Manifest the Divine by Elena River gave me those kinds of prompts that go beyond the fluffy stuff. I actually cried during one of them. Weirdly enough, a few weeks later I got the exact opportunity I’d been journaling about.
It’s wild how simple manifestation becomes when you finally understand it. Manifest the Divine by Elena River explained things so clearly. I’m seeing movement now in places I thought were dead ends. Still can’t believe it.
I swear I used to roll my eyes at manifestation lol but then I got my hands on Manifest the Divine by Elena River and actually did the writing exercises. It sounds dumb but it legit made a difference. Helped me slow down and feel more clear. Now I’ve got a job I love and finally got that car I’d been visualizing forever.
