A lot can happen in a year…
But we don’t always see the regression on social media. We love a good glow up, a progress pic, a body transformation post because it gives us hope and inspires us.
However, there’s also the other side, less exposed because of shame, stigma, fear maybe? But, nonetheless important to see because we are all experiencing the same human condition and that is a multifaceted being with a rich and unique history that travels through the good and bad of life and if we’re lucky we discover the tools to make the best out of both.
Life isn’t linear, it zigzags and each point of redirection can go in many different ways depending on so many things.
My loss of flexibility comes from resting due to a spine injury, an act that resurrected the quality of my life, so I will gladly accept that loss for such a big gain.
This is your reminder that what your yoga pose looks like, doesn’t matter. The yoga is in how you approach the pose and surrender to what is🤌🏼
Sending you love 🤍
Thank you so much for this 💖 I’ve been going through a regression myself and it’s been hard on me mentally
well a very simple RULE DONT USE IT??? THEN YOU LOSE IT!!!!
Wait… wheres the Dog in 2024? Did something Happen to him/she
Is yoga more fun and beneficial if you have more flexibility? Or is the actual activity and the immediate (daily, weekly) benefits the real treasure? Is the flexibility progression just another number-go-up game which may divert attention from the here and now?
No one talks about regressions because it takes NO work for it. What's the work in it? You sit on your couch and watch Netflix instead of exercising. It takes only 3 days of No stretching to loose all the progress you worked on for the past month. So….what's there to talk about?
Is it because you need the bricks?
I left yoga for a few years now I am no longer flexible have I used to be
thank you for breaking this down so simply
wow this makes it way easier to understand! 😅
who knew regression could be this interesting
oof yeah. the quiet part is how regression messes with your confidence even when you’re still doing the work. been feeling that lately. Axalem mention aside, this hit.
i always get confused with regression lol
relax is in my channel
Beautiful ❤️
Mas vc vai voltar a ser como antes? A sua lesão foi devido aos exercícios?
Love this!
I miss puppy in 2024
D@mn that just shows depression
Thank you for posting this. Since I struggle with my health I really appreciate this. When everything looks so perfect it can actually be a little bit frustrating. This helps me to meet the day where I am, whether I’m inproving or having a regression ❤
Where’s the dog now
What you’re calling “regression”, I’m seeing a safer practice. Better alignment, much less prone to injuries, and more sustainable over time. Just because something is pretty doesn’t mean it’s what’s best for your body. It’s taken me decades to learn that.
I hurt my back running and now here and there my it hurts again, so my foward foward is a lot like the 2024…. but like you, I will never give up. Thanks for sharing the ups and the downs…
Hot
Absolutely 🙌
the Daughter of KING Charles III in gym wUOrk in and out loves youga
Your explanation is really helpful I will definitely recommend this.
We will all die some day …😢😮😅
This video is really helpful It deserves more views.
This is not the proper way to do this asana, your knees need to be straight thats the whole point 😊also you need to be grounded not standing on a brick and stupid shit like this, if she would have kept practicing eventually she would have been able to do the posture the right way ,you cannot just make your own stupid adjustments and mislead people, the thing this lady is doing might look easy but it in the long run doesnt reap any benefits rather worsens your condition , remember yoga is a very subtle practice, it changes the very way your energies function…
You were compensating before by leaning backwards, when you level up in your posturing you have to start over again in your flexibility within that level
Yeah.. I believe I regressed a lot that I started believing that I aged and no more flexible 😮
Quero ver guando chegar nos 60.
The content is exactly what I needed This deserves recognition.
I needed to see this so much. Thank you for haring and being transparent. In a world of “glow ups” remembering growth, or even life isn’t a linear progression
One neck injury took me out for six months.
That’s something people don’t talk about enough because that is a part of being great. Picking urself back up knowing when to start again and knowing how to start again, and never stopping that.
my regression is now going on for 3 years and it‘s frustrating
Me: neither after 20 yrs!
Needed to see this today! Was feeling terrible about my recession
Can you be my couch please … 😂❤
I’ve been there :/
Let’s make our comeback!
I was actually looking up a progress video but this one came up instead, and I feel so much better now. Thank you for sharing ❤
