This is great when you have a very small issue. If bigger this is not working.
You are generalizing lower back pain. There is a herniated disc, straightening of the vertebrae, increased vertebral disc prolapse, etc. I do not think this exercise is suitable for all cases.

You’re flexing more into the anterior position with this motion. Wouldn’t you rather move/flex into the posterior pelvic position.
Pretty sure this is the opposite of what someone with anterior tilt symptoms is supposed to do
