Homeostasis, here we come. Take 15 minutes to tend to your nervous system with this regulating rest and digest practice. In this video you will find valuable techniques to cultivate a sense of safety and grounding in times of nervous system disregulation.

Gently guide your body back to a harmonious state through awareness of the breath. Regulate the nervous system by entering the role of the observer. Release self-judgment by practicing self-compassion. The mat is your place to return home to yourself, and a great place to become more familiar with your unique window of tolerance.

Soothe symptoms of stress and nurture the parasympathetic nervous system (AKA the “rest and digest” state) with this calming yoga practice. We will do it together.

Save this session for when you are feeling off balance and need an energetic reset.

Let me know how this one goes for you in the comments!!

  1. Made with love after delving into my own healing journey with the nervous system which my body definitely called on me to address (Via body anxiety and panic attacks a couple years ago.) It's an ongoing process and almost everyone can benefit from short and consistent practices that help us tune into our individual nervous system health and utilize the tools to guide back toward homeostasis. It can also just feel good to give these issues visibility and allow there to be more accessible shame free support. I got you. Thank you for sharing your practice with me.

  2. It's all forced. Sitting up straight, not moving, not changing my breath, changing my breath, not going too hard not going to soft. I've been (trying to) practicing for 5+ years and it's all still forced an painful.

  4. Tend, April 2, 2026, month 4. This felt so good after movement and stretching. Enjoying day two of a short spring break, listening to my body to wake, sleep, eat, do nothing, and leisurely attending to my daily yoga practice when the mood fits. Today, it was more soothing to go with the yoga flow in the later part of the day before twilight time. I opened windows for fresh air, lit sage, lit some candles and truly regulated my nervous system. It was so freeing to relax into that mindset. I am appreciative and so very grateful. 🙏🏾😌💙✨

  5. TEND – April 2026 Day 2 and I am so tired from a long, long, long day yesterday and a busy morning. Taking some time for myself now and get my sore body moving. Sending love & gratitude to Adriene, Benji, and the community here. We got this. ❤‍🩹

  6. Tend l 🦋❤🦋l Day – 2 l Blessed Beloved Beauties! Ah, this session is cool, calm, and refreshing. It is ideal after meditation 🧘🏿‍♀️, and a sweaty Kemetic Sun Salutation Yoga study.🌞 I'm looking forward to my morning run 🏃🏿‍♀️, and heavy weight 💪🏿 training. I also need to continue designing yoga classes for my Kemetic Yoga series launching in May. I'm excited to instruct that style. I have 10-years of experience in Hatha, Yin Restorative, and more. Yay for Yoga 🧘🏿‍♀️! I love it and have love for this community. Best wishes, everyone!🦋❤🦋

  7. TEND, day 2. April 2026. Thank you Adriene, this was such a beautiful and perfectly timed breathe practice. ❤ I needed to calm my nervous system, as I'd got very stressed, and anxious this morning. It's always the little things that stress me out, they build and before I know it I feel like I'm either going to be sick, or just scream. So thank you for this practice, it meant that I neither was sick, or screaming. 😊 Just chilled out, breathing deeply with you, Benji and my dog, Rose. 🌹 Loved this practice. I can't wait to see, what treats you've got for us tomorrow. See you there! Namaste. 🙏🧡🧘‍♀️💜🌹🐕‍🦺
