Saturn Retrograde

In February, Saturn entered Aries. The first sign of the zodiac, Aries is associated with the fire element. It is about desire, impulse, and propelling into action whereas Saturn is pragmatic, patient, and responsible. For the last five months, Saturn has been been tending to the Aries fire within us all by balancing our desires with patience. It has been slowly revealing the sacredness of dedication and refinement. It is the wise elder attuned to the laws of time and space, cause and effect.  

As Saturn begins its annual retrograde this week on July 26, 2026, we find ourselves reviewing, unravelling, and integrating all that we have experienced thus far during its transit.  Saturn retrograde in Aries is a space of honest self-reflection. We are exploring the way courage feels in our bodies and the way desire and initiation, self-trust and integrity move through us. North Node Enters Aquarius

One of the most significant astrological shifts of 2026 includes the movement of the lunar nodes. Namely, the North Node leaving Pisces to enter Aquarius and the South Node shifting from Virgo to Leo on July 26, 2026.

The lunar nodes constitute a mystical space. These are not planets but calculated points in the cosmos representing where the Moon’s path intercepts the path of the Sun. They are intangible yet profoundly impactful, symbolizing purpose and direction, becoming and soul. At a collective level, they represent the development of humanity and the tides that guide and move us all.

The North Node is evolution. It is a compass showing us where the future is opening. The South Node reveals closure and mirrors chapters coming to an end through release, healing, and endings.

As the North Node enters Aquarius, life seems to call us into a new relationship with belonging. Not just to ourselves but within our larger existence within the constellation of community and society. Here the self is remembered as a vital note in the greater symphony of our shared lifetime. We no longer need to dim, hide, contort, or please to feel safe. In that space, we can remember our life force as medicine and service.

Jupiter Cazimi

The planet Jupiter began a new chapter in Leo only a few weeks ago. The Sun also recently began its annual transit through Leo. And on  July 29, 2026, these two bodies come together in the fire sign in what’s known as a cazimi.

When Jupiter draws close to the Sun, creativity heightens and wisdom flows. There is encouragement to dream and lean into a vaster trust in things unfolding.
